It was a beautiful day at Gundlach Bundschu Winery for a Sonoma Winery Wedding for Ashlee and James. Gundlach Bundschu Winery , established in 1858, is California’s oldest family-owned winery. With its vineyard views, courtyard, and wine caves it is truly a unique Sonoma Valley wedding venue.
Sonoma Winery Ceremony With Vineyard Views
Wedding ceremony began at 5pm with the wedding party walking in to an acoustic version of “Speechless” by Dan and Shay. Ashlee then processed in to “Marry Me” by Train. Not long thereafter, the bride and groom walked out as Mr. and and Mrs. to “Could You Be Loved” by Bob Marley & The Wailers.
Immediately following the ceremony, cocktail hour was held while the new bride and groom snatched couple and family photos. Bustle and Twine took care of the wedding photography for the day and Lovely Day Events seamlessly coordinated for Ashlee and James. Bay Laurel Culinary provided the delicious food and EV Floral Design designed and created the flowers and decor. Bright Event Rentals was the special event rental company.
After inviting guests to dinner, the new Mr. and Mrs. made their grand entrance. Immediately followed the grand entrance, James and Ashlee made welcome toasts.
Ashlee and James’ first dance song together as husband and wife was “This is It” by Scotty McCreery . Followed by Ashlee and her dad dancing to “It Won’t Be Like This For Long” by Darius Ruckert. James and his mom danced together to “What a Wonderful World” by Louis Armstrong.
AMS Wine Country DJ Packs Dance Floor
Dance party begins! DJ Emil packed the dance floor with some all-time favorites, throwing in some “must-have” requests from the bride and groom, like “Don’t Stop Believing” by Journey and “Broccoli” by DRAM. Emil does an extraordinary job of getting everyone out on the dance floor and having a blast.
After the reception ended Ashlee and James’ made their getaway (in a vintage classic no less!) to their after party at Steiners Tavern in the Sonoma Plaza.
Without a doubt, Ashlee and James had an awesome Sonoma winery wedding! Cheers to the newlyweds! Thank you for letting us be part of your special day at Gundlach Bundschu Winery!
